Art Program

It was the inmates themselves that were passionate about helping the orphans. So, they looked for a way to use what they had to boost the funding for Otino-Waa Children’s Village. They created art groups to produce and sell the works of their own hands.

Visions of Hope supplies materials for our inmate artists to create beautiful works of art. And when they are not painting or drawing, these artists can even repurpose scraps from prison trash to make art out of fabric, wood, paper, or metal! The creation of art not only becomes a healing process for the artists but it is an important element of hope in the life of a child in Uganda.
